I live on a ranch surrounded by apple orchards, hay fields, horses, cattle, and other agriculture which has always been a childhood dream.

I live in a valley full of good people- good men, and they give me plenty of inspiration for stories.

I’m married to a paramedic/ firefighter; my own personal, tall, dark, and handsome. An alpha male with bulging biceps and a brick wall chest who cuddles newborn babies and kittens. ❤️

I write devotional, Bible studies, and inspirational romance novels.

I’m a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and Northwest Christian Writers Association. I am enrolled in the Novel Academy

Over the years I’ve written for various print magazines, online newsletters, and had some work published in a compilation book. I’ve also self-published a weekly devotional planner for adoptive mothers, and a devotional called Rooted & Blooming, Flourishing In Desert Seasons, which can be found just about everywhere in e-book, audio, and print.

Currently I’m writing a Bible Study, and a contemporary Romance.

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalm 107:20 NKJV

I can often be found, mocha- in -hand, reading a good historical fiction book with a few dogs and children at my feet.

We live rurally on a small horse ranch in Central Washington. There are only two horses now and the ranch has been taken over by Miniature Nubian milk goats, East Friesian and Gotland sheep. I make cheese and soap with the milk and sometimes yogurt and ice-cream. I’ve also begun spinning the fleece from my flock of sheep into artsy yarn. I’m no good at it, but it’s therapeutic.

On a productive day I work out, read with my littles and maybe ride one of my horses, or I bust out  3,000 words to meet my writing goal, and catch up the laundry.

On a not-so-productive day I curl up with my iPad and Netflix and watch Call The Midwife even though I’ve seen every episode 793 times. I’m a homebody. I have a crazy love of newborn babies, baby goats, good jeans, T-shirts,  boots, mocha cappuccinos, well written books, my husband’s biceps, and Bible study.

“Seek ye out the book of the LORD, and read…” Isaiah 34:16

“Great are the works of the LORD, studied by all who delight in them.” Psalm 11:2

Jesus has made all the difference in my life. He saved me out of a dark and deep pit and all I know to say to you is that my life is different. I put my trust in Jesus about 24 years ago now. Things are never boring around here, I’m far from perfect, and God is always good. Sometimes I like to write about it.
